Bond Street Station.

The first thing I hear is the presence of people. a lot of people. Something else that I hear frequently is the doors of the barriers opening and closing, hearing the beeps of accepted cards while people walk through to go complete or end an endeavor. The rhythm that I hear the most is the pattern of footsteps by other people. What I have noticed while listening is that due to the speed at which you hear an individual step, you can get an insight into what they might be doing or the importance of what it is they are doing. For example, the clicking of a fresh work shoe can allow me to infer that the rest of what he’s wearing will go along with that. A shirt and tie, let’s say for now. If that is true and given that the location is Bond Street Station, I can infer that he may be off to his workplace in an office where you need to look presentable. and due to the pace at which he is walking, you might think that he may be late for work or that the meeting is very important and he wants to get there 10 mins earlier to make himself look better. What’s the point I’m trying to get at? Even down to the click of a shoe, everybody who has passed those barriers all got a story to tell and a different life they live different from anyone around. And every other person that leaves the station all have different dreams, goals, and aspirations that are different from the person behind them. What can I hear? I hear footsteps, distant talking, and TFL barriers. What can I see? never-ending streams of memories, life stories, and versions of ways to treat and take life.
